Palau (160741). The authorship is generally assigned to the French chemist, revolutionary, and important contributor to the 'Encyclopédie'm Louis Bernard Guiton de Morveau. However, although there are descripions of Guiton's experiments, the author was probably the physician and chemist Juan Manuel de Aréjula (born in Lucena, Córdoba in 1755 and died in London in 1830, a liberal exile from the tyranny of Fernando VII; or the physician Miguel de Cabanellas (Sa Pobla, Mallorca 1760 – Madrid, 1830), who was appointed Inspector General de Epidemias for Valencia and Murcia, and later royal physician.
Some light marking on the title page and the last two leaves, but a very attractive copy.
