Twelve Keeler novels in Spanish translation (9 1st ed., 1 2nd ed.) with their original dustwrapper, generally based on the American or British dustwrapper. Some of these wrappers have been neatly repaired (one has been seriously chipped and lacks a corner), others are in great condition; owner's signature or minor defects to some of the books, but gerally vg+. We have added a magazine page (unidentified, but about 1950) with a list of the 39 Keeler titles that had been published in Spanish. The Spanish market was an important one for Keeler's publications and he is still quite popular. I have always thought that that is at least in part that Spaniosh people don't really twig on to Keeler's craziness as a writer, which is the key, surely to his position as a cult writer in the USA. I believe that he is valued here in Spain for his good, old fashioned, complcated and twisted plots. Viva Keeler, I say. I've never read him in English, but reading him in Spanish is like smoking a joint (in a purely literary way...) More photos on our web.
