Cover and edition by Fayad Jamís. This is the only book in Jamís's Centro collection in a larger format. The renowned Cuban poet Cintio Vitier had published a "first rough version" (as he describes it in his prologue) in Orígenes poetry magazine in 1954, but this is the first publication of the final version.
