Maribel Fernández Garrido (Santander, 1976) is a poet, geographer and member of the folk rock group El Hombre Pez.

She has won a number of poetry prizes and has published Trilogía de Amor y Desencanto (Santander 1997), Las Mil Malditas Fases de la Luna (Santander, 1999), Qué se Puede Contar en una Noche en Vela Cuando se Terminan las Ovejas (Santander, 1997), Luz de Gálibo (Santander, 1998) and Ferramarealia (2002)

She has also published various short stories and has contributed to numerous potry anthologies.
